Durante muchos años, al abordar los valores desde el punto de vista pedagógico se utilizaban términos como los siguientes: educar valores, formar valores, que en alguna medida resultaban generales.
Es a partir de la década de los años 90, del siglo anterior, que comienza un movimiento fuerte en diferentes países, por sustituir “educar valores” por “educar en valores”. Entendiendo esta como un proceso donde el accionar de los diferentes actores sociales para la formación de los educandos es planificado, orientado, intencionado y controlado. El artículo muestra una variante para la mejor comprensión de la axiología educativa en la formación de valores en la escuela cubana.
Abstract:
Along the years different terms have been used to refer to values from the pedagogical viewpoint: educating through values, forming values, which have resulted to be general terms to a certain extend.
It was in the 1990s that a strong movement in different countries changed the terms “educating values” for “educating through values”. The latter being understood as a process where different social participants intervene in the formation of students and conceiving it as a planned, oriented, intentional and controlled process. The article shows a variant for the better understanding of formation of values in Cuban Education.
