Abstract

El  Manual que se presenta está dedicado a la familia de los niños con sordoceguera, la autora intenta apoyar el trabajo que realizan estos en el hogar durante el proceso de enseñanza y educación de sus hijos. No pretende dar explicaciones y soluciones a todos los complicados y a veces contradictorios problemas que surgen a raíz de la ardua labor que se realiza en conjunto con los escolares.Solamente se trata de dar una respuesta a la problemática en la cual se ven envueltos unos y otros. En su lectura puede ser que piensen que les va a costar mucho trabajo apropiarse de  conocimientos acerca de aspectos relacionados con la vida de sus hijos y que hay que realizar todas las actividades o consejos que se reflejan en el Manual, si así fuera están en un error, pues esto no significa necesariamente trabajar más, es hacerlo de una forma más organizada y adecuada por lo que los resultados serán mejores. Unos avanzarán más rápido que otros o algunos necesitarán más niveles de ayuda que otros, pero no por ello debemos sentirnos frustrados, es que debemos tener presente las particularidades individuales de cada cual.  Para ustedes trabajamos con gusto porque son “Una familia especial”.

Abstract:

The aim of the handbook is to back up the training of the deaf and blind children at home. It is not aimed at having explanations and solutions to all complex and contradictory situations encountered during their teaching-learning process. It only provides a solution to the problem situation the face. The handbook provides with knowledge about aspects related to the life of these children together with activities and advice. Although contents may seem hard work for parents, they only offer more organized and adequate teaching expecting better results. Some children might need more time and help than others given their own uniqueness.
