Abstract:
By the end of their first childhood children face an examination checking pupils’ habits, abilities, skills, and capacities. It has been observed that children show insecurity, and lack of concentration. Consequently, a system of activities was conceived which can be found in Ninito Cubano Workbook. Basic knowledge on mathematics related to the children’s surrounding environment and other interrelated dimensions would allow better results in a movement game called “Encuentra tu estrella Colorín”. Activities are feasible role plays and games that can be programed, done individually or with parents, but under the teacher’s guidance. Parents can create teaching aids to help conception and performance. The proposal has been implemented for three years in six classes at Alturas de La Lisa with satisfactory results. Achievements and difficulties are considered to attain higher levels of quality.
