In accordance with the six axes outlined for the integration of digital technologies within the MINED strategy for educational transformation, methodological work must serve as a didactic mediator and regulator to achieve the required effectiveness in directing the teaching-learning process. These conditions demand that didactic management in the study unit of the Cuban History subject in pre-university education prepare teachers for the use of digital resources such as APKs, platforms, digital networks, and Artificial Intelligence (AI). In this management, education professionals must fulfill the functions of direction: planning, execution, control, and evaluation. The planning process must consider a didactic sequence that guarantees a before, during, and after class structure, integrating digital actions that promote student self-management of learning. This mixed-methods research was conducted in two stages. First, a theoretical-practical course was implemented with Cuban History teachers from the "Presencia de Celia" and "Antonio Maceo" pre-university schools in La Lisa municipality. The results were presented in methodological workshops where teachers demonstrated improvements in didactic management through the use of digital resources and the changes achieved in student autonomy in managing learning content. Increased motivation, educational quality, and the essential role of teacher preparation in facing educational challenges in the digital era are evident.
