Los estudios comparados y las prácticas investigativa han avalado el progreso de la Educación Comparada como Ciencia de la Educación desde el siglo XX en Cuba y en varios países de América Latina. La Educación Comparada orienta a la investigación que puede aportar a la indagación sobre la puesta en práctica de las políticas educativas y las manifestaciones de éstas en los diferentes contextos, tanto a nivel nacional, sub-regional, regional y mundial. En este trabajo se sintetizan las experiencias desarrolladas por profesores e investigadores cubanos en el campo de la Educación Comparada desde sus orígenes y evolución. Se valora el estado actual de esta disciplina académica en estudios de pregrado y postgrado, además de las publicaciones con aportes teóricos y metodológicos.
Abstract:
Comparative studies and research have supported the evolution of comparative education as an education science sine the XX century in Cuba and various countries in Latin America. Comparative education orient research towards the implementation of educational policies and their expression in different contexts: national, regional or global. In the article experiences developed by Cuban researchers and teachers on comparative education are summarized dealing with its origin and evolution. The current state of this discipline in tertiary and postgraduate education is assessed together with the publications with theoretical and methodological contributions.
