This objective, together with the designed methodology, allow us to show as main results that 68% of the students surveyed see the accounting subject as useful only for related careers, which shows a limited and little functional approach to accounting. 76% of those surveyed have a preference for practical teaching methodologies. On the other hand, 75% of students indicate that they have updated texts and brochures, although 55% indicate that these are only partially available. As a worrying indicator, it is observed that 100% of students indicate that they do not have accounting software at their disposal for the accounting practice of the subject. Accounting and Tax Packages. As conclusions, it is pointed out the need for a holistic view of the teaching-learning process of accounting at the technical level, improving student motivation.
