This work is carried out in the presence of the growing need to sign values in the students and the scarce domain of these envelope historical personalities Rubén Martínez Villena (1899-1934), the values that this it represents, and their example in the formation of the new generations of revolutionaries. A youth that fought for the rights of the workers and rural, sacrificing their life and facing a terrible illness that would lead to the death and the personality that with them to work and value, it would win the admiration and the respect of all the cubans. Today, more than in other moments, it is necessary to reinforce the formation of values in the students to achieve worthy citizens, capable of participate actively in the construction of the society that in want all, inspired in the example and the work of valuable Cuban Thursday as Rubén Martínez Villena. Precisely the article persecutes as objective, elaborate a system of activities of the formation of values from the personality of Rubén Martínez Villena in the students of firs year of the polytechnic center of industrial mechanics Cuban friendiship-Sovietica. Theoretical, empirical, and statistical methods were applied. The results achieved with the design and implementation of the proposed activity system demonstrated that it is possible to develop values based on the personality of Rubén Martínez Villena in students. Its application and generalization with the study of other political, economic, cultural, and sports figures in other educational institutions yield satisfactory results.
