The objective of this article consisted of arguing why the integral pedagogical diagnosis of the student constitutes an essential requirement for the current Cuban educational change, as a response to the determined scientific problem, as an essential axis of the research design, which was carried out with theoretical level methods. and empirical and statistical. Among the results achieved, the most relevant were the systematization of the conception of comprehensive pedagogical diagnosis; reflections made in the group based on current educational practice; the fact that the participants have accepted and selected for themselves the topics of the program; the selection of final evaluative works related to the Third Improvement of the National Education System, the 2030 Agenda. Among the conclusions reached, it is highlighted that the conception of comprehensive pedagogical diagnosis endorsed in this article, for the educational work of the educator, constitutes today a serious problem to be solved, for which reason there are sufficient reasons to argue that the object of study of the investigation is an essential requirement for change. To obtain better results with this improvement course, in tune with the science-technology and innovation unit, it will be redesigned and mounted on the Moodle platform.
