Language is the highest expression of our culture. Through it we express our joys, dreams, interests, and all that content that people possess that comes from everything that surround us. The teaching learning process of the English language constitutes one of the fundamental premises of the current Cuban Education. The methodological conception of the discipline: the communicative approach that integrates the basic principles of the conscious practical method implies that the students must be able to achieve effective communication in real life situations. In this sense, due to the impact that the use of Information and Communication Technology has in language classes,proposing an electronic book for the development of oral communication in English in the seventh grade students of the Olof Palme Basic High School is the objective of this article. This technological tool enables the design of specific activities for the development of the four skills with an emphasis on oral communication. The following methods were used in the investigation within the dialectical-materialist method, the theoretical methods used where: analysis-synthesis, induction-deduction, historical-logical and modeling. As empirical methods: documentary study, teacher interview, student survey and oral diagnostic study to the students. Finally, the statistical-mathematical method as well as sampling: probabilistic technique: simple random.
