The integration polytechnic school-labor entity for the development of pre-professional practices urges a development of tutorial competence to meet the demands of society for technical and professional education in pursuit of the sustainable development expected to be achieved for the Cuban nation. In this sense, a strategy is proposed as a result of the research that starts from a diagnostic study on the initial state of the object of research at the Raúl Cepero Bonilla Polytechnic Institute and the labor entities that are articulated for the training of students. The logic of the research is based on the dialectical-materialistic approach with the use of methods from a scientific posture, the application of theoretical, empirical and statistical methods that made possible the search and processing of theoretical and practical information on the selected topic. The results obtained allowed corroborating the relevance of the strategy for the integration of the polytechnic school-work entity and the development of the tutoring competence of the tutor who attends the pre-professional practices in the technical-professional-integral formation of the competent worker demanded by the Cuban society.
