The world is facing an environmental crisis that knows no limits. Contamination of water, soil, air, food; the destruction of the ozone layer, the increase in the greenhouse effect, climate change, the alteration of hydrological cycles, deforestation, the loss of biodiversity, among other environmental problems, are the result of a lack of reflection towards our natural environment . The school is decisive in the development of education for the conservation and sustainable use of biodiversity, both by the student and the family, based on the important influence they have on the development of the personality of their descendants. Therefore, the objective of the research is to propose a proposal for family orientation workshops for education in the conservation of the biodiversity of the natural heritage of Ciudad Escolar Libertad. The workshops favor changes in the family regarding the performance of its educational-spiritual function, in relation to the conservation of biodiversity and the involvement in environmental management and, in turn, is based on debate, on the exchange of criteria, experiences and experiences, where the intergenerational, has an essential role in learning the causes that threaten biodiversity and the measures to be taken into account to avoid its loss.
