Despite the role played by women throughout national history, they have been made invisible by historiography and in particular in textbooks for teaching the History of Cuba. Demonstrate this and expose a series of actions that have been carried out since the training of teachers of the specialty Marxism - History is the objective of this article, which is based on the studies carried out in the science and innovation project: “A contemporary conception of the teaching-learning process of History and Marxism ”. The methodology used is based on the analysis of documents, with emphasis on programs, methodological guidelines, textbooks and normative documents for pedagogical secondary and higher education and the products of the activity that were used in the teaching process are also used. Learning about the History of Cuba in the career Marxism Leninism and History and in Secondary Education was delivered to the methodologists of the subject for its introduction, also socialized in events and methodological meetings.
