Abstract

En el proceso de transformación que conduce de una sociedad industrial a una sociedad post-industrial, la información y el conocimiento constituyen un factor de producción determinante junto al capital, la naturaleza y el trabajo, por lo que el modelo de universidad está hoy siendo también transformado. La Universidad de Ciencias Pedagógicas “Enrique José Varona” propone alternativas concretas en la práctica educativa cubana y en otras regiones, basadas en una concepción dinámica del postgrado, que contrasta investigación, postgrado para Cuba y como modelo para el mundo, asumiendo como premisa la internacionalización del conocimiento desde la cooperación en redes académicas y la solidaridad que ha caracterizado a nuestro país, en correspondencia con el momento histórico concreto que vivimos y el cambio de época global.

Abstract:

In the process of transforming an industrial society to a postindustrial one, information and knowledge constitute determining factors together with the capital, nature, and work. Consequently, the University model is being transformed these days. Enrique J Varona University of Pedagogical Sciences proposes concrete alternatives developed in Cuban educational practice and in that of other regions based on a dynamic conception of postgraduate education in Cuba which can serve as a model for that in the world. This, having as a premise the internationalization of knowledge based on the collaboration through academic networks and the solidarity, which so much characterize our people, in correspondence with the changes in the global era and the historical moment that we are living.
