El artículo que se presenta, tiene como finalidad, dar a conocer el desarrollo que han tenido las asociaciones de maestros en Cuba; particularmente se enmarca este estudio entre 1881-1952, para profundizar en el conocimiento de lo acontecido en estas organizaciones; desde la etapa de la colonia hasta la etapa de la república. El magisterio cubano, en todos los tiempos, se ha caracterizado por su auténtica cubanía y patriotismo. Reconocer desde sus orígenes las asociaciones del magisterio en nuestro contexto, nos ha permitido mostrar las profundas raíces de esta organización, que desde la etapa colonial se aprecia una gran preocupación por el estado de la educación en el país, lo que denota una elevada conciencia social en el magisterio cubano.
Abstract:
The purpose of the article presented is to publicize the development of teacher associations in Cuba; This study is particularly framed between 1881-1952, to deepen the knowledge of what happened in these organizations; from the stage of the colony to the stage of the republic. The Cuban magisterium, in all times, has been characterized by its authentic Cuban and patriotism. Recognizing from its origins the associations of the teaching profession in our context, has allowed us to show the deep roots of this organization, which from the colonial period shows a great concern for the state of education in the country, which denotes a high social awareness in the Cuban magisterium.
