El artículo fundamenta el desarrollo de la expresión oral del inglés en los estudiantes de la educación superior hasta niveles productivos, en un proceso de enseñanza aprendizaje que se sustente en el enfoque por tareas, los principios didácticos que emanan del enfoque histórico cultural y un enfoque interdisciplinario del currículo. Se emplearon los métodos empíricos: una prueba de diagnóstico y la valoración de especialistas, y métodos teóricos como el análisis histórico lógico y análisis-síntesis. Se alcanzaron resultados en la caracterización de la evolución de los métodos y enfoques de la enseñanza de lenguas extranjeras y el inglés en medicina, un nuevo concepto de expresión oral, la reestructuración de los requerimientos para el desarrollo de esta habilidad hasta niveles productivos y la síntesis de los fundamentos para este aprendizaje.
Abstract:
In this article it is demonstrated that oral expression in English in university students can be carried up to productive stages in a teaching learning process based on the task based approach, the didactic principles of the cultural historical theory and a close relation among the different subjects of the curriculum. In the investigation the following empirical methods were used: a diagnosis test and the valuation of specialists, and theoretical methods such as the logical historical analysis and analysis-synthesis. Results were reached in the characterization of the evolution of the methods and approaches of the teaching of foreign languages and English in medicine, a new concept of oral expression, the restructuring of the requirements for the development of this ability until productive levels and the synthesis of the foundations for this learning, the main reached result.
