La propuesta contenida en el presente trabajo está asociada a uno de los resultados del proyecto “La obra de José Martí y el proceso de formación del profesional de la educación en la Universidad de Ciencias Pedagógicas “Enrique José Varona”, que bajo la dirección del autor se desarrolla en esa institución con el objetivo de construir una concepción teórico-metodológica para el aprovechamiento de las potencialidades instructivas y educativas de la multifacética obra del Maestro en ese proceso. Se presenta un proceder metodológico para el estudio de su obra escrita, que se apoya en antecedentes que respondieron a un propósito similar y en la sistematización de referentes que tratan explícitamente la lectura, comprensión, análisis y valoración de textos desde la perspectiva de reconocidos especialistas.

Abstract:
The article deals with a proposal related to one of the results of a project: “The work by Jose Marti and the process of professional formation in education at Enrique J Varona University of Pedagogical Sciences”. This proposal under the direction of the author of the article pretends to conceive a theoretical-methodological conception for making better use of instructive and educational potentialities in the work by the Maestro in this process. A methodological procedure is presented for the study of his written work based on antecedents with a similar purpose and the systematization of referents which explicitly deal with the reading, comprehension, analysis and assessment of texts from the perspective of recognized specialists.
